University of Oklahoma Signs Patent Technology Licensing Agreement with User Centric, IP, LP
The University of Oklahoma has signed a patent technology licensing agreement with User Centric, IP, LP for the use of their proprietary location-based patents. This agreement will allow the mPING smartphone application to continue to be accessible by anyone on a global scale - free of charge. Access to the mPING database and developer tools for research purposes, or to view the data from https://mping.ou.edu/, also will continue to be available free of charge. This agreement puts the mPING smartphone application, and the mPING developer tools, into compliance with User Centric IP, LP exclusive patents.
Use of the mPING database and developer tools for commercial purposes is granted via User Centric IP, LP review and must be gained prior to access.
